Terms of service.

Plain-language rules for using XLNTalk. We’ve tried to keep the legalese to a minimum and the meaning to a maximum.

TL;DR

Don’t use XLNTalk to harm people. We don’t train AI on your audio. You can stop using the service anytime. We’ll tell you 30 days in advance if these terms change.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using XLNTalk (the “Service”) you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Account registration

Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and accept responsibility for activity under your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use XLNTalk to: violate any law, harass others, distribute malware, impersonate any person, interfere with the Service, or record participants without informed consent where required by law.

4. Content & ownership

You retain all rights to the audio, transcripts, and recordings you create on XLNTalk. We do not sell, license, or train AI on your content.

5. Free service

XLNTalk’s core service is provided free of charge with no advertising and no data sale. We reserve the right to introduce optional paid add-ons in the future, but you will never be required to pay to retain access to the features you use today.

6. Service availability

We target 99.9% uptime. Scheduled maintenance is announced 72 hours in advance. We are not liable for downtime caused by force majeure or third-party providers.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, XLNTalk shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

9. Changes to these terms

Material changes will be communicated at least 30 days before they take effect via email and an in-product banner.
